Squirrels, falling leaves and sewing

Well hello there stranger! Yeah, long time no hear, or should I say see or read or blog or ??? Whatever the correct word is, we’ll go with it! I apparently stopped blogging a very long time ago and just decided to give it another try. Problem is that this blogger platform is not the least bit iPhone friendly because it doesn’t do the word wrap thing and I’m a bit impatient with having to manually scroll right and left to read what I’ve written. Ok, rant over ....

Any suggestions for a free app that interacts with Blogger?

I love this time of year when the squirrels are busy and the leaves are gorgeous and falling down to provide a carpet of color in my back yard. I just heard that the reason squirrels are constantly digging is they forget where they’ve buried their nuts. Some of us can certainly understand that, right? Yeah, I thought so! Like that’s why I keep buying fabric is because I can’t find that special piece I bought last month or last year and since I found the perfect pattern I just HAVE to sew it now! Speaking of sewing, I just spent a couple of days helping my 47 year old Goddaughter convert a couple of vintage aprons into bib aprons. What fun! Teaching one-on-one is not my forte but all was well and we had a great time.

Most of my sewing lately has been clothing for myself, grandsons or daughter. I’ve also been sewing quilt blocks  from The Splendid Sampler. If I can add pictures I’ll share a few things I’ve been making.

Ok so I couldn’t get to current pictures, so you might just get to see an Afghan partially done.
Till later!
